How did you use media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?

I used a large variety of media to complete my coursework. I used blogger throughout to help post progress in research and planning and the updates in creating the music video. This as very useful as it helped me receive feedback in the form of comments from my classmates. It also helped me meet deadlines. It made it easy to keep track of what I had and hadn't done. I used the internet alongside my coursework to help collate pictures and research. It helped me research what other media products are already available which helped me get an idea for the genre and what kind of music video I wanted to create. I used YouTube to investigate similar music from the genre and to also post my final video.

I used Photoshop when creating my digipak and magazine advert. This was incredibly useful as I was able to edit photos and add effects to create the image I used for the cover of my album and on my magazine advert. It helped me create my digipak as I was able to add layers of text and images to create my final product.

To create my music video I used Adobe Premier Pro. I used it to collate all the shots needed for the video and edit them together. It is very precise and this was a useful feature when editing, especially with the lip-syncing. I was also able to add effects to the clips, helping me to make the 'memory' parts of the music video different from the other clips.
